Copper |
Copper, in the heart of the Colorado Rockies and surrounded by it all, is where the skier's ski and the boarder's ride. No less an authority than the US Forest Service claims "If ever there were a mountain created for skiing, Copper Mountain is it.". At 9,700 feet, Copper can boast being above nearly all the rest. 21 lifts on 2,500 acres provide excellent skiing on "naturally divided terrain" – simply put, the green runs are to the west, the intermediates are in the middle and the experts lie to the east. But don't forget the backside and Copper Bowl – truly incredible skiing.
And finally, a Village that lives up to the Mountain. The Village at Copper offers premium accommodations just steps from all the action. Dining, shopping, apres, nightlife, kids activities and more await.
Can't miss: Have a beer at JJ's Rocky Mountain Tavern, and pull up a stool at Colorado's longest bar. Too tired to hike? Just grab a cat and take advantage of Copper's FREE snowcat rides to the top of Tucker Mountain, where powder runs await.
