Activities & Special Events
At Intrawest, we constantly strive to create places where amazing experiences happen for our resort guests and our homeowners. This includes hosting many special events and activities throughout the year. Both on-mountain and at our village locations we host a multitude of events such as ski and snowboard festivals and musical events. Administration
Administration offers the detailed support required to ensure the smooth operation of many of our resort operations. Opportunities in administration include Executive Assistants, Program Managers and Coordinators and Data Entry experts. Candidates with exceptional attention to detail are encouraged to apply.
Bike and Terrain Park
During the summer time, many of our snow resorts turn into the ultimate bike playgrounds. Our Bike and Terrain Parks require many employees to create a safe and positive environment for all. Positions in this category include Trail Crew, Instructors and Bike Patrol.
Business Operations
Many of our Business Operations roles are located at our corporate headquarters, US Shared Services office and occasionally on-site at a resort. Opportunities in this category include positions that take place at the back end of our operations and are not captured in other categories listed on this page. Positions include Business Optimization, Project Management and other positions designed to help finesse our operations.
Business Strategy
Most of our Business Strategy roles are located at our corporate headquarters, US Shared Services office and occasionally on-site at a resort. Individuals working in this category will serve "behind the scenes" in such areas as Acquisitions, Change Management and other positions designed to help grow and develop our operations.
Call Centers
Call Centers are the backbone to many of our operations. Whether the focus is outbound (e.g., tour and product sales) or inbound (e.g., answering questions or booking property tour packages), we're committed to using technology and information to best suit our guests' needs. Our call center roles require customer service experience and strong verbal communication skills. Experience in selling, cross-selling, and inbound or outbound phone sales is an asset. Childcare/Early Education
If you love to work with kids, we'd love to have you on our team. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional environments for the whole family. Our childcare and early child education opportunities include positions such as Childcare Providers and Kids Camp Program Managers. Those with diplomas and degrees related to early childhood education are encouraged to apply.
Finance & Accounting
Finance and Accounting provides financial services to help all our operating divisions run more efficiently. They ensure all cash inflows are collected, banked and invoiced, suppliers are paid, accounting records are maintained, and managers are kept up to date on their financial performance. Jobs in this division include, General Accounting, Payables, Receivables, Cashiers, Control, Business Analysts, and Auditors.
Food & Beverage
If you're interested in taking your career in culinary arts/food and beverage to a higher level, this is the department for you. Our Food & Beverage Operations offer our guests amazing food that appeals to a wide variety of appetites and sometimes at high altitudes. At most of our resorts, Food & Beverage Operations offers everything from self-service, on-mountain restaurants and mountain huts, and fine dining on-mountain and in base-area restaurants, to après-ski bars and lounges, catering, and commissary services.

Golf
Intrawest owns and manages several championship golf courses in both Canada and the US, each with its own spectacular setting. With courses nestled deep in forests or cool mountain valleys, surrounded by ocean, or in the heart of desert blooms, the Golf Group can offer you indoor and outdoor golf employment opportunities in locations most people can only dream about. Guest Services
Although all our employees are in the "business" of Guest Services, at many of our resorts, this is a complete department in itself. Making sure that our guests have a smooth, hassle-free and enjoyable experience at our resorts is what our Guest Services employees do best. Guest Services staff include: Guest Relations, Experience and Service, Ticket & Pass Sales, Ticket Validation, and Race Department.
Heli-Skiing
Intrawest is the proud owner of 2 Canadian Heli-Skiing companies—Canadian Mountain Holidays and Whistler Heli-Skiing. If you are interested in working in the pristine mountain ranges of British Columbia and contributing to the great powder experiences of our guests, then check out our roles within Heli-skiing. Our Heli-skiing operations require experienced Heli and Cat Skiing Guides, Food and Beverage professionals, Guest Services, Marketing and Sales positions.
Homeowner Relations
Many of Intrawest's guests become owners in our resort lodging through investing in programs such as our fractional and private residence programs. It is essential that we take care of our homeowners to ensure they have a long-term positive experience with us. Roles in the Homeowner Relations category are particularly attractive to those with an interest and experience in Member Services, Lodging and Real Estate Development.
Hotel & Lodging
When a guest is staying in one of our managed properties, it is our mission to ensure the ultimate experience. Every aspect of a guest's experience is coordinated either through our IHM Division, Intrawest Hospitality Management, or through the specific resort location. Roles within Hotel and Lodging include Housekeeping, Laundry and Front Desk.

Human Resources
The professionals in our Human Resources Departments work to ensure the ultimate employee experience, including looking after the many needs of our current, potential, and past employees. This team handles everything from recruiting, hiring, new hire orientation and professional development, to organizing staff functions, special events, communications, benefits, workers' compensation claims, and employee housing and services. Roles in the human resources field include Recruiters, HR Generalists\Employee Experience Advisors, Employee Experience Managers, Employee Housing Advisors, Benefits Specialists as well as HR leadership staff.

Information Technology/Systems
Information Technology departments at our resorts as well as at our Corporate Headquarters are responsible for ensuring the smooth operations of our technical systems and keeping up to date on the latest technology. Positions in this category include Network Administrators, Help Desk and Application Specialists.
Internships/Co-op Programs
Intrawest is a great place to start a career. Internship and co-op positions provide a taste of what it's like within hospitality and resort operations. Our intern positions are often several months in duration, and may be paid or unpaid jobs directly related to a student's field of study. Typically, we have accepted interns studying in Tourism and Hospitality Management programs, Human Resources, Marketing and Sales as well as the culinary arts.
Legal/Risk Management
Our motto is Safety First. Risk Management roles within Intrawest include all those concerned with the safety of our guests and employees. These include Ski and Bike Patrol for summer and winter operations as well as Health and Safety Officers and Lifeguards. Corporate Counsel and other legal opportunities are also included in this category.
Maintenance and Trades
Our maintenance departments reside at each resort location and are responsible for lifts, buildings, electrical and vehicle fleets. Opportunities are available for those with skilled trades and journeymen as well as those looking for entry level roles in this field.
Marketing
Our marketing staff is responsible for the promotion of our programs, services and resorts to our guests and our homeowners. They reach out to the world and increase the number of guests coming to our resorts—year round. On-Mountain Operations
Mountain Operations is comprised of the people who are on the mountain every day, working to guarantee that our on-mountain experience is as safe, reliable and seamless as possible. At our mountain resorts, this division includes: Lift Operations, Lift Maintenance, Grooming, Snowmaking, Parking Lot Attendants, Electrical, Vehicle Maintenance, Building Services, Trail Maintenance, and Mountain Planning.
Purchasing
The purchasing department handles many of our vendor contracts—everything from the soda we drink to the soap in our hotel rooms.
Real Estate Sales Services & Development
Intrawest Placemaking is responsible for the planning, design and construction of the resort villages that complement the recreational facilities at our resorts. Our Playground division offers great opportunities in the sales and marketing of these properties! Specific career opportunities are available in: Development, Construction, Planning, Engineering, Commercial, Finance, Project Management, and Sales and Marketing.
Rental/Retail
Rental and Retail Operations at our resorts operate a diverse group of retail, repair and rental sport shops that offer equipment to meet every recreational need. Our Retail and Rental Operations offer opportunities in sporting good and rental stores, repair and tuning locations, and our central distribution locations.
Reservations
We pride ourselves on having some of the best reservation agents in the world. Typical reservation duties include revising itineraries and booking vacations, lodging and tour packages. Join our sales force and work with some of the top sales professionals in the industry. Roles within our Sales teams include Group Sales, Vacation Sales Agents as well as timeshare and fractional Real Estate Agents. Ski & Snowboard School
The mission of our Ski & Snowboard Schools is to create an environment and culture where on-mountain learning is fun. Our instructors are ambassadors for our guests, not only teaching our guests new skills but also providing a backstage pass so they can best experience the sport, the mountain and the resort. Our Ski & Snowboard Schools offer a wide variety of programs for all ages and skill levels, including specialty skills training in racing, powder, bumps and steeps.
Timeshare
Timeshare is a unique business and at Intrawest we consider ourselves experts. Club Intrawest is one of the world's leading point-based vacation-ownership organizations, with great opportunities for those looking to excel in this field. Club Intrawest requires a talented sales force at each of our resort locations as well as hotel operations and support staff. In addition, corporate positions offered at our Vancouver Club Intrawest head office include member sales, call center, management and general administration.
Travel & Tourism
The Travel and Tourism category includes opportunities that overlap or are not found in other job categories. These include roles for individuals with experience or education in tourism/travel and leisure, airlines, cruise lines or agencies.
Village/Base Area Operations
Unlike a city hotel, many of our resorts are self-contained villages built in remote locations. They are often completely self-reliant from a utility and services point of view. As such, we need skilled workers to ensure our villages remain in pristine condition. Roles in this area include water and sewer treatment, snow removal, parking, maintenance and landscaping.
